Hi, I'm Kathleen Hopewell.
I'm a multidisciplinary writer and editor with experiences across journalistic, non-profit and international academic contexts, as well as education in evidence-based policymaking. Without sacrificing depth for breadth, I am prepared to support print and digital publications, communications strategies, social media management and design—especially in policy-related contexts.

About Me
While completing my Masters in Public Policy and Human Development at Maastricht University/United Nations University-MERIT, I worked in UNU-MERIT's communications office managing social media channels to promote the study programme to global audiences.
I also wrote and edited for student news publication, CisternYard News, while pursuing my Bachelors in Political Science and English at the College of Charleston. There, I progressed from Volunteer Opinions Writer to Editor-in-Chief. I also wrote copy about the 'Silicon Harbor' and its growing technology sector for economic development firm, Charleston Digital Corridor.
